October, a month of many celebrations – personally and internationally. The month of Nigeria’s Independence and a month of reflection.
During the leading up to this month, it hasn’t been easy for many of us. Covid-19 still circulating the world and everyone seeking hope from the government. Some are looking forward to the end of this year while, others are adjusting to a new normal.
But it’s fair to say that many of us are tired. Emotionally, mentally and psychologically. Where do we find strength and hope? The answer is in God.
My Help Comes from the Lord
121 I lift up my eyes to the hills.
From where does my help come?
2 My help comes from the Lord,
who made heaven and earth.
3 He will not let your foot be moved;
he who keeps you will not slumber.
4 Behold, he who keeps Israel
will neither slumber nor sleep.
5 The Lord is your keeper;
the Lord is your shade on your right hand.
6 The sun shall not strike you by day,
nor the moon by night.
7 The Lord will keep you from all evil;
he will keep your life.
8 The Lord will keep
your going out and your coming in
from this time forth and forevermore.
Through this wave of insecurity and distress, let’s continue to put our hope in God. He hasn’t failed us yet.
On behalf of my team, I would like to wish you a warm welcome into, October. Happy new month everyone!
