There is a friend who cares about you.
They care about your thoughts, your passions and also your sorrow.
They care about your shame and love you beyond it.
They care about life after death and can see how much abandonment and insecurity have stolen your joy away.
Their love is pure,
It is indescribable and yet fills the vacuum in your heart and joy,
It is the anchor that never moves despite what the world may throw at you.
It is the definition of security.
