WHEN POETRY AWAKENS

When poetry awakens,
Let my quill tell its dreams,
Of lover’s tales
And olden rhymes…

When poetry awakens,
Let its embers be rekindled
To enlighten the young,
To light a flame in the old…

When poetry awakens,
Do not let it sleep again,
Sing a tune from its rhymes
Let a bard harmonise it e’er…
