Many at times,
We live as though
What we see,
Is all there is –
Without a care,
Without a thought
Just by and by,
We live as though,
The sun doesn’t shine
And warm our hearts,
Nor does the moon
Lull us at night;
We beat the wind,
In the pursuit of vanity
And take not the time
To appreciate God’s gift
I hope that we will take one day,
Just one day…
Just a modicum of time
To appreciate eternity…
