The boy whose stomach rumbles,
Whose tummy sing songs
Of hunger and lack?

Who will remember
The mason who mixes the cement,
And lays brick upon brick
Under the scorching sun?

Who will remember,
The girl who was raped,
Whose innocence was stolen
By vile and evil men?

Who will remember,
When we lived in peace,
When we were our brothers’ keepers
And genuinely cared for strangers?
