Read Your Bible

Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth is an acronym that I stumbled upon a few days ago which I believe perfectly explains the bible for what it is for Christian’s. Just like any manual you may have read to ensemble or further your learning on a product, the bible is our instruction manual on how we should live out our lives while on Earth God’s way.

All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work. [Timothy 3:16-17]

From the scripture above we can see that the bible plays a crucial part in our walk with Christ. Therefore, taking a moment out of your day to read your bible is a great way of growing with God and understanding how the Lord works in our lives. It is only through reading the bible we come to know who we really are in Christ and the promises God has made to us.
