For mankind were You slain

And by Your dying breath,

You saved us all from sin.

Lifted up to be mocked

By all men and sundry

Won what no man e’er could

Went down to Hades depth

And snatched us back to life

From sin, fear, pain and death 

O King on the Cross

Your reign is forever 

And we will surely reign

With You Lord, forever
