Opening Prayer ~
Thank you Lord for the countless blessings and love you have given us in our lives, use me to bring your message to your people in Jesus Name, Amen!

Summary ~

The title of my teaching is Thanksgiving with Joyfulness Brings Forth Praise, my message will be short but I pray that it’ll bless you all nonetheless

Thanksgiving ~

At times we may want God to meet us at the point of a need or we may be in prayer for long period of time requesting for a change in a situation this may result in us forgetting to offer up thanksgiving to the Lord, the bible says in Psalm 9:1: “I will give thanks to the LORD with my whole heart; I will recount all of your wonderful deeds.” (ESV), we must remember to count our blesses praise the Lord for what we have or for where we are in our life, by doing this it’ll produce a stronger sense of praise for our Heavenly Father.

Joyfulness ~

As with thanksgiving, our circumstances can cause us to feel depressed and lowly in spirit but we have to recall Nehemiah 8:10: Nehemiah said, “Go and enjoy choice food and sweet drinks, and send some to those who have nothing prepared. This day is holy to our Lord. Do not grieve, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.” (NIV). Joy fuels praise, so be joyful always.

Final Word: We can show praise through our actions or through prayer but if we want continual praise towards God we must fill our hearts with joy and continue to give thanks to God for the love and blessings He has shown us throughout our lives. Psalm 30:4: “Sing praises to the LORD, O you his saints, and give thanks to his holy name.” (ESV)
