The world of theatrical arts can teach us a few lessons; as the play conveys emotions released into the air, it can capture the hearts of those who observe the motions, but only a few can understand the intended sentiments behind the performance. However, social media is an art form of its own; through it, we express our thoughts and emotional fumes, yet no one is satisfied, we urge the feeling to obtain love from a place that cannot bring it to us in full; instead, we lose pieces of ourselves as we look upon the screen.

We all carry a mask, a disguise everyone around us is familiar with but cannot easily recognise. Day after day, we conceal it, never revealing who we really are on the inside. It is through this disguise we live out our lives but with fear of it ever coming off. Some bear the hurt and pain from the past while others relive pleasures and achievements no longer present. Our identity is attached to the mask we wear, but we have the choice to unmask ourselves or live with it forever.
