As I go through this journey of life,
I see more questions than answers,
Is that how it is meant to be?
Questions such as,
What is the meaning of life?
What is our purpose here?
But Jesus says in the Holy Writ,
“I am the Way, the Truth and the Life“
I hope I am asking the right questions
But then, I hope I won’t be tricked,
Live Eve was by the Serpent,
Hope I won’t question God,
When I hear, “Did God say?“
For like Job, my understanding is limited
And my imagination lacks comprehension,
These are my heart’s contemplations;
The revolving thoughts,
Shooting through my mind
I hope I find an answer,
I trust I’ll find an answer
I know I’ll find the answer…
