I hope as I pass through life,
My heart is conscious of the fact
That one day, I shall breathe my last;
And when I open my eyes
I shall live in eternity.

I hope I get to live life today,
Knowing that tomorrow would come,
When I would be no more…
Henceforth, I pray to live today,
Through the lens of eternity

I pray I live as I ought to,
I hope I touch a soul,
I hope I get to make someone smile
I hope I live for another
Before I cross over to eternity
