What can I give in exchange for my soul?
Precious stones, pearls, silver or maybe gold?
Why go through life in pain and penury?
Is not the soul worthy to be merry?
What can I give in exchange for my soul?
Indeed, life is full of woes and sorrow
And its sojourn makes the heart go hollow
Hence, to seek its pleasure, I may follow
What can I give in exchange for my soul?
For when my soul is no more mine to hold,
And I stand before God to give account,
I pray I lived in a way that did count.

This was the poem I needed to hear. Thank you Chukwudi!
