Only if you believe

A child has trust for its parent when they are unsure of the way to go. They hold tightly to their hands and are excited because they know their parent will not leave them astray.

We have trust for a chair. Although it doesn’t speak, we trust that it will hold our weight when we rest on it.

We have trust that when we are tired and are on our beds, sleep will eventually come. Although we do not have control of our dreams.

How much more secure will it be to trust in a maker who has not only created us but knows our true self like the back of his hands?

Some trust in their war chariots and others in their horses, but we trust in the power of the Lord our God.
Psalm 20:7 GNT

The modern translation would go like this. Some trust in their cars and public transport, others trust in their Google maps or sat nav but they that have trust in the Lord will be confident wherever they go
