If yesterday could talk,
What will it say?
About how I thought
And how I talked
Did I win what I ought?
Or did I give in to life’s whims?

If today could talk,
What will it say?
Will it say I am ready?
Or just too lazy?
Will I give an excuse?
To deal with everything tomorrow?

If tomorrow could talk?
What will it say?
Will it say I will overburden it?
With a pile of ‘I’ll do it tomorrow’?
Will I also face it like today?
Because tomorrow never comes?
