THE SOJOURN

If in your life’s quest,
You lose your way
Turn back not
From whence you came;
For if you had
What you are looking for,
Then why embark on the sojourn?
Therefore, press on…
Press on,
Though your strength be faint,
And your throat be parched,
Soldier on,
For your answer awaits
On the other side.
Also, seek not for fool’s gold
For many go in sojourn for it
And end up in more sorrow.
Therefore, in your quest,
Seek that which is noble,
That which is good,
That which is pure,
That which is right…
