Listen to the bawl of a baby,
Sometimes, it sounds like music
That pierces the heart,
Whereas it may be,
The cry of a hungry soul
Listen to the words of a toddler,
Maybe you’d learn
That it is possible
To think the impossible
For such is how they see life
Listen to the conversation of a youth,
Full of life,
Full of passion,
Full of zeal
For unto them is given strength
Listen to the advice of the aged,
Full of years and scars
Full of tears and cheers.
Do not despise their wisdom,
Even in their silence…
