Celebrations should not be in vain,

it should not be about adding to one’s purse,

it should not be about taking the focus away from its meaning,

it should not mean being superficial.

It should be about deep reflection,

It should be about gratitude

And most importantly, it should be about Jesus.

Whether he was born on the day or not, his story still holds.

Remember the reason for the season.
