When all we have are seeds in our hands,
Eating seems much easier than planting.
Today looks better than tomorrow—

We say, “Why hope for what you don’t have,
When you already hold today in your hands?

Squander your proceeds, for today is all you’re promised.
Nurture your seeds, for no one knows tomorrow
But even this could be a test of wisdom.

Refute the thoughts of what-ifs,
For we may never know what tomorrow holds
If all we do is waste today
