How God Expresses His Love for Us 2

I will be continuing the teaching on How God Expresses His Love for Us. I hope you’ll be blessed as you read.

Isaiah 49:15 New International Version (NIV)

15 “Can a mother forget the baby at her breast
    and have no compassion on the child she has borne?
Though she may forget,
    I will not forget you!

God doesn’t forget his children

At times we may feel as though he is far from us, while he is standing beside you. Just because he is silent doesn’t mean he is not listening. He hears our heart cries and he sees our situation.

We go through different seasons in our lives and some of them are lonely. those around us seem to be far and unbothered. And times, when you need people the most, is when you realise who your true friends are. But, I am here to remind you of the God we serve. He is the greatest friend you can have, he knows you very well.

Jeremiah 1:5 English Standard Version (ESV)

“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you,
and before you were born I consecrated you;
I appointed you a prophet to the nations.”

God was talking to the prophet Jeremiah, emphasising that he knew the purpose he created him since he was in his mother’s womb. And that is the same way he knows each of our purposes. He knows you very well, he knows the WHY to your existence. It is just left for us to discover that and walk with him

God expresses hive love towards us through the trials we face

He does this to help us grow. He always puts us in uncomfortable places so that we can move. Think about it, when you’re moving from Point A to B, you will feel it because you are moving, whether it is via foot or transport. But, when you move, there’ll be some friction and the elements around you will also interfere with your journey. This is why we need to keep our eyes on him and focus on the end goal

Psalm 91 King James Version (KJV)

Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;

Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.

A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.

Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked.

Because thou hast made the Lord, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation;

As stated before, trials will come, as Psalms 91 verse 5 says, “the terror” but God will be beside you. He will be your refuge and fortress, as long as you trust in him

I guess, what I am trying to say is that God shows his love through his protection over us. Whether we realise it or not, he is there for us. If we seek him we shall find him. My question for you is, who are you seeking? Who are you allowing to protect you?
