At the peak of day,
When the sun no longer smiles;
But is laughing so hard on us –
When shade, cool breeze… are enough
But hard to come by sometimes
At times like that, I go horse-riding;
Holding onto his reins of wishes,
I wish for rain at such times,
I wish for grey cloudy skies,
I wish to play the guitar at such moments.
Well, here I am wishing,
For a whole lot of things,
While sipping on a cold drink,
And fanning myself;
In the arid North.
But above all these, I do wish one thing,
That the sun will close her eyes;
For such moments are beautiful,
For then, my musings are surreal.
Well, that being said,
There goes my MIDDAYTUDE…
