‘Tis so hard to go through a day, hopeful
For each day is filled with its own trouble
Yet, day by day, time after time, we go
While trusting our gray skies to turn to blue.
Indeed, ’tis hard for the average young man
For he sits and think, and pens down his plans,
But ends up chasing them until he’s old
And then may end up saying, ‘there’s no hope‘,

A young man hears it and is filled with fear
And wonders if he’ll ever enjoy here,
So he sets out each day from dawn to dusk
Under the scorching sun, and bites the dust
I wish he will know his days are but few,
Then he’ll live each day, knowing what to do.
