God knows your name
God knows us so well, he is an intentional God. He knows when we are happy, sad and in distress.

Psalm 34:18 New International Version (NIV)
18 The Lord is close to the brokenhearted
and saves those who are crushed in spirit.
He is near those who have felt abandoned and rejected by others, he sees your wounds and scars and wants to bring you close. He is not ashamed of you and does not love you less. Instead, he wants to remind you of what he sees in you. He wants to remind you that you are,
1 Peter 2:9 New International Version (NIV)
9 But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.

And that you are a hill set upon the hill:
Matthew 5:14-16 New International Version (NIV)
14 “You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. 15 Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. 16 In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.
See this God we serve! He has made us distinct and special. And he wants to use your hurt and your past for his glory. That will be the same situation that will draw people to you because through your victory many will be saved. Hallelujah!

Let us pray
Lord Jesus, I am who you say I am. I give you who I am and I ask that you show me your love and who you have called me to be. I am whole, I am yours and I am saved. Help me to see myself as the light you have called me to be. I am yours forever, in Jesus name, Amen.
