Scripture Reading
A manʼs heart plans his ways, but the Lord directs his steps. [Proverbs 16:9]
Allowing Time to Pass
Our natural tendency is to try to climb the ladders in our lives before we take the time to consider how far up we have to go or better yet consider whether we have taken the time to sit down and pray for direction regarding.
There is a way which seems right to a man, but itʼs end is the way of death.
[Proverbs 14:12]
Chances are we have all been there before and like always we feel the guilt of leaving God out in that particular matter. When that happens we are given the choice whether to choose the path God wants us to truly go or continue onward to where we think is best for ourselves.
I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my eye upon you. [Psalm 32:8]
If youʼre in the situation that you are confused or genuinely feel like youʼve been heading into a direction that seems dark, then remember this:
Steps taken in the dark lead to unknown pastures and ultimately disappointment, let God light your path each step at a time.
Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path. [Psalm 119:105]
