The Way We Love

Scripture Reading: Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. [1 Corinthians 13:4-5]

The world has showered and in some way taught us a twisted and a toxic version of what loving one another truly is.

At most we’ve been told daily to only love those who love and treat us with love and though we should show love and appreciation to those who are close to us, we should also show that same display of love to those who we rather be distant with.

Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins [1 Peter 4:8]

If we look at the example Christ gave us, we see that He showed love to all He came across whether this was done through comforting, laying hands or being a listening ear, it was evident that He loved each and every person that came His way. [1 John 4:16]

Let us all remember that each day is a chance to show love to whoever may come at our doorstep. [1 Corinthians 16:14]
