Amongst the stress of this world, there I find you,
beneath the rustles of my worries, there I will lie in you
nothing more can be compared to your peace,
within it all, beneath all the grease,
the clumps and static this world brings,
forgetting where true peace lies, anxiety-filled to the brink
slowly stepping away and realising where peace lies,
beneath the echoes of all the lies
that is fed into our minds, crushing each and every hope
doubt taking charge and suffocating our reason, making us mope
when truly, in you, that is where true peace lies.
In you, I accepted and nothing is a lie.
In you there is peace
