White Flag

Ever felt so overwhelmed by your own thoughts? With 1,000 things to do but you don’t know where to start from? I’m sure you do. That’s how life feels sometimes with things moving from left to right and that odd surprise midway. And then, finally! We make it to the weekend. But, I wonder how much time you give to yourself to just slow down and think.

Think. Reflect. Simmer.

Raising your white flag and accepting that, you need to slow down and listen to your thoughts and not run away from them. They’ll just pill up one after the other if you don’t deal with them.

Do you have a safe place?

Seek after a place where you can be free and open and not be afraid to speak to yourself and to God. And seek out people to help you along the journey.

Raising your white flag doesn’t have to be scary. It takes a lot to be brave and to allow some quiet time to yourself. I encourage you to create a safe place and ask for help. You don’t need to do this alone.

God bless you,
