When my soul is overwhelmed
And my contemplations are a dirge
When my heart skips a beat
Because of the palpitating fears
When my thoughts repeats itself
Of hurts, pains and sadness
I sing a song of hope
And dance to the rhythm of peace
I listen to the sound of love
And jump to the beat of happiness
So my soul will be merry
And my heart will be glad
I’ll not stop singing
Lest I fall into the pit of despair
And crash in the abyss of sorrow
