I want to listen to the sound of nature;
One of glory and wonder
Let me wake up to the birds chirp
And rise up to the sun’s fanfare
But I pray the midday sun not to reach a crescendo
But I hope gentle breeze strums my skin
By sunset,
When the evening sounds buzz
I will tap my feet to its rhythm
And sing aloud to its songs
Let the day be musical
Let everything be magical
So when I lay my head to rest
And in dream land, I wander,
I’ll sing with the angels in visions and dreams…
