A story is only good in the eyes of the author when it becomes a creative piece they are proud of letting others know about it. In terms of writing, you as the writer will develop your skills as time goes by and the more time you put into practicing this skill.
Narrative wise, having a good structure to your story is important and should be clear to anyone that is reading. Additionally, creating characters that exude a hint of your personality and have traits that resonate with your readers can add a lot to your story and maintain your audience’s attention. However, never feel pressured to learn everything all at once. It is better to write to your pace and add each new skill you acquire along the way.
