JOY TO THE WORLD

For grace and love, He came
For peace and joy, a cry was heard
To reconcile man and God, He was born
O what lovely sound was sung
Now we rejoice at the birth of The King
He who takes away the sin of the world
Let the earth jump and nature praise
Let mankind be happy at the coming of the Christ
For now is the season of hope
The season of love draws nigh,
Hence our hearts are gladened
And our bowels are filled with dancing
Cast your crowns, o mortals
Bring your gifts, o mankind
Worship the King of Kings
And serve only Him
For joy has come to the world
And peace to all men…
