Yesterday was given long enough
For our plans to thrive
But our excuses were longer
And now our progress farther

We could have made better choices
But flopped at the sight of comfort
Yes! So much could have been done
Yet nothing was accorded us

Today is given to us as a gift
And tested by another chance

Deliberately making a difference
And doing so outstandingly

Rolling our sleeves
And giving excuse no room
Simply fanning to flame all our embers
While watching them burn gracefully
