LIFE’S LITTLE THINGS
No warmer smile,
Than a baby’s.
One that can thaw
Even the coldest heart.
No calmer thing
Than the song
One’s soul enjoys
For it brings joy.
No funnier joke
Has ever been told
Than one’s lover
To his or hers.
No greater satisfaction
Has a person
Like he, who when thirsts,
Finds water to drink
No better time to learn
Than one’s youth
But many of us waste it
And regret it later
No more beautiful vista
Than staring in the horizon
Surrounded by mountains
Overlooked by sunset.
No greater love,
Has any soul
Like the love of Jesus
The purest love of all…
